A. The Spectra has built in tolerance technology called Intellizone on its main board to prevent false triggering, there are also other features in the digital passive infrared detectors. You can learn more technical details.

 Q. How do the detectors work ?

A. The detectors work by emitting infra-red beams which measure temperature, once a person moves in path of a beam, the detector recognises a change due to their body temperature.

 Q. I have pets, how will this affect the alarm system ?

A. There is a special pet detector we can install which can tolerate pets up to 41kg.

A. The system works with modules which plug into the Spectra's main board, much like the video card or sound card plugs into the main board on your computer. This enables the system to be wireless, expanded, remote access, dual zoned and more.
